South GeorgiaLEADS is a leadership immersion for citizens throughout South Georgia designed to facilitate awareness of issues that are essential to the future success of the region by giving participants the necessary skills and training needed to effectively lead in a 21st century economy.
LEADS alumni are doing big things for South Georgia. Each graduate makes a commitment upfront to fully engage in the course curriculum, and in turn, to put their new set of skills, new regionally-focused perspectives, and new professional connections to work back in their home communities.
Women across South Georgia are being offered a first-ever chance to participate in a women’s leadership initiative focused specifically on the needs, challenges and opportunities facing women in 32 counties throughout the region.
